The McCune Ridge Festival is a private function and is not open to the pubic.  However, if you're reading this, it's probably because you are within a degree or two of separation from one of the festival organizers or one of the musical acts scheduled to perform. That being the case, you're welcome to come down to Jackson County and spend the weekend with us!

You don't need a lot of cash on McCune Ridge, but please don't forget -- You will need $25 per adult in your party to camp on the grounds for the weekend, children under 16 are free. And....NEW this year, come join us for just a "Day at the Ridge" on Saturday for just $15.  We hope this new pricing structure encourages some of our on-the fencers to come down, enjoy some laughter, and maybe join in the Rumpus!  Nobody makes much on the Festival, but this helps cover musicians and technical crew, rental of the tents and port-a-pots, site improvements, etc.

Camping is really the only way to experience the Festival to its fullest.  Tents, RVs, hammocks and even U-Haul trucks are all perfectly viable ways to camp on the Ridge. Access to electricity and to potable water is extremely limited, so plan as though you won't have either. In particular, be sure to bring enough water for all of your drinking, cooking and cleaning needs. There will be port-a-pots scattered across the Festival grounds.

In general, we try to direct Campers and RVs to the property across the road. There is more level ground over there, and we think that ingress and egress with larger vehicles will be easier. Please remember that we are guests of the Shuck family over there, and they have asked that we stay away from the pond, and stay within the area that is marked for our use. Thanks in advance!

Recognizing that camping may not be everyone's preference, we include the following information for your convenience.

Trash has been a perennial problem, and we are always looking at ways to improve the situation this year. Best if you can plan to pack out whatever trash you generate, including bottles, cans, and whatever paper you don't burn. Please respect the Wheelers' property and that of their neighbors: Pick up your area occasionally throughout the weekend and especially when you're ready to leave.

Campfires must be limited to a few designated areas, both for safety and to minimize scarring of the land. Plan on joining the rest of us at the big fire down the hill instead!  You're sure to see some interesting sights there, hopefully you'll remember them and not be one of them!

We always receive a lot of feedback each year about The Festival policy on dogs, mostly unsolicited and unsuspecting victims of poo-shoo.  That being said, we don't want to discourage folks from bringing their pets, but If you can make other arrangements please do. Otherwise please be considerate of other Campers and be sure to pick up after them and plan to leash them if they become a nuisance.

We look forward to seeing all of you on the Ridge, and to making this 35th Anniversary Celebration one to remember! Let's let loose, sing along, enjoy each others' company and -- if the spirit moves you -- join in the Wild Rumpus!
